Broomball is a sport that offers distinct levels of play for ages 13 - 80. It is a lifelong sport with single sex and co-ed teams, where families can participate as in very few other sports. In Manitoba we have many such families, some having three generations playing on one team, some having members in each category of team and some who could form their own team in the Mixed division.
Broomball is for enthusiastic, fun-loving people who think winter is too long. High schools and juvenile players play on co-ed teams with no contact. Manitoba Broomball Association has mixed leagues for couples and friends to join. And we have Men's and Ladies leagues for the serious contact competitor. No matter what your skill or interest level is we have something for you.
So get off the couch and sweep on down to join a broomball team today. You'll meet lots of fun people and enjoy a great workout too.
