JOIN US TO KICK OFF SPRING BREAK 2008

The Manitoba Amateur Broomball Association will be hosting a High School Broomball Tournament.  The main emphasis of this tournament is on FUN and PARTICIPATION in a RECREATIONAL setting

WHERE:                    Gilbert Plains Arena, Gilbert Plains

WHEN:                      Thursday. March 20, 2008

COST:                       $ 100.00 / team

CATEGORY:            Co-Ed High School teams- minimum 2 girls on the ice.                          

RULES &

REGULATIONS:     Minimum of 11 players (10 +goalie) / team Max 20 players  

                             Team MUST have at least one coach / supervisor on the

                             bench at all times    

                             NO body checking allowed        

All games are – 20 minute running time periods.  If the game is tied at the end of regulation time, overtime will be played to determine the winner.  Teams will play 3 against 3 with a goalie for 5 minutes – Sudden death.

Teams shall wear matching sweaters / pinneys.  Each Sweater / piney must have a different number

Helmets with face masks are MANDATORY.  Players will not be allowed on the ice without them.
